Job description
Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team for large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The roles involve design, verification, and follow-up of electrical installations according to Norwegian offshore standards. This position is available in either Haugesund or Bergen.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform and verify the design of electrical installations in accordance with project needs.
  • Act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for assigned equipment or systems.
  • Define and design heat trace systems based on P&IDs.
  • Prepare, check, and approve: Technical requisitions, Material Take-Offs (MTO), and engineering work packages.
  • Follow up with vendors throughout design and delivery.
  • Insert and maintain data in the engineering registry.
  • Conduct site surveys as needed.
  • Interface and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Solid experience in electrical engineering for modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations: NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC.
  • Multidisciplinary understanding and ability to work across disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with a systematic and efficient work approach.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
Certificates
  • Basic EX course (either 6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom-based).
  • FSE – High and Low Voltage with First Aid.
Languages
  • Norwegian - Native or bilingual proficiency.
  • English - Full professional proficiency.
