Sperton Norway AS is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer SEIT for a long-term assignment in Stavanger.
We are looking for a structured professional with a background in electrical, instrumentation and/or automation engineering, combined with experience from MC and commissioning activities within M&M and MOD projects.
In this role, you will contribute to commissioning activities throughout the project, with a focus on planning, documentation, scope definition and coordination with vendors and offshore teams.
Establish and maintain boundary drawings for commissioning activities
Develop clear and practical commissioning procedures
Define the relevant commissioning scope in PCS
Prepare job cards and handover documentation
Support FAT preparation and participate in FAT activities at vendor locations
Coordinate with offshore teams and participate in relevant meetings when required
Contribute to project planning and schedule updates
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Fagbrev or a Bachelor’s degree within a relevant technical field
A professional background in electrical, instrumentation and/or automation engineering
Strong knowledge of SCD, C&E and block hierarchy
Experience with MC and commissioning in M&M and MOD projects
An offshore certificate
Offshore experience, which is strongly preferred
A proven track record of engineering delivery within the oil & gas industry
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
A proactive mindset towards improving ways of working and developing professionally
An interest in sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues’ development
