DNV invites motivated Master’s students in Marine Technology to join as a summer student in Maritime Ship Classification Approval – Ship Structures & Stability. You will work under the M-SA-S team, supporting design review, stability and load calculations while collaborating with colleagues across Norway (Ålesund/Høvik) and international locations.

Ideal candidates are in 3rd or 4th year with relevant specializations, fluent in English, and eager to develop technical expertise within a global,

About The Role

M-SA is the Approval Organization within Maritime Ship Classification and consists of more than 400 employees, located mainly in Norway (Høvik and Ålesund ), Germany (Hamburg) and Poland (Gdynia). The main services delivered by the Approval Centre are approval, verification, and certification services for ship systems and components.

Department Ship Structures & Stability (M-SA-S) is a part of M-SA and is organized in 5 sections responsible for design review and approval of ship hull structures, stability, lifting appliances, load line and tonnage.
