Job summary

OneSubsea in Bergen, Sandsli, is seeking a Control System Software Engineer to help advance subsea production technology. You will design, implement and test control software for deep-water systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure reliability and performance.

The role blends software and hardware, offering international exposure, lifecycle involvement from design to field support, and flexible work arrangements including home-office options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• BSc in automation, cybernetics, computer science, IT, or related discipline.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and testing control system software for subsea systems
• Performing modifications and upgrades to delivered control systems through aftermarket activities
• Participating in component, functional, system, and interface testing
• Working closely with suppliers during testing activities at supplier locations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams across all project phases
• Supporting implementation and handover of control system software for subsea products and systems
