Job summary

OneSubsea is seeking a Digital Operations Process Engineer to support customers through remote condition monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting of subsea equipment. The role is based in Lysaker and involves using real-time operational data to drive improvements in availability and efficiency.

The successful candidate will analyze data, provide technical recommendations, and collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers to deliver projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process, Electric Power, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of PVT behavior and fluid dynamics.
• Experience in process engineering, flow assurance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with automation, control systems, PLC programming, or rotating machinery.
• Programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support OneSubsea delivered systems, including pumps and subsea production equipment.
• Analyze real-time and historical production data to evaluate equipment performance.
• Provide proactive technical support and recommendations to clients.
• Prepare and present monthly performance and status reports.
• Conduct engineering studies related to subsea production and processing systems.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and performance investigations.
• Contribute to developing new digital products and monitoring services.
