We are currently looking for a Digital Operations Process Engineer to join our team at Lysaker.
As our Digital Operations Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers through remote condition monitoring and performance analysis of OneSubsea equipment installed around the world.
Using real-time operational data and advanced monitoring tools, you will identify performance deviations, provide technical recommendations, and contribute to maximizing system availability and production efficiency.
You will also serve as a technical resource within our Global Processing Services organization, supporting Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers with troubleshooting, engineering studies, and technical expertise.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical challenges, performing engineering studies, providing technical guidance, and helping drive efficient and successful project delivery.
In addition, you will play an active role in developing and improving our remote monitoring capabilities, analytics tools, and digital services.
Monitor and follow up OneSubsea delivered systems, including pumps, compressors, multiphase flow meters, swivels, and subsea production systems
Analyze real-time and historical production data to evaluate equipment performance
Provide proactive technical support and recommendations to clients
Prepare and present monthly performance and status reports
Conduct engineering studies related to subsea production and processing systems
Support troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and performance investigations
Assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers with technical expertise
Participate in modification, upgrade, and service activities related to subsea equipment
Contribute to the development of new digital products and monitoring services
Support tender work, scope development, and commercial activities
Create and maintain Subsea Live monitoring portals for new projects
Deliver training to customers and internal personnel
Participate in the Subsea Live on-duty support service when applicable
Maintain a strong focus on HSSE, quality, and ethical standards across all activities
Has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Electric Power Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Has a solid understanding of PVT (Pressure, Volume, Temperature) behavior and fluid dynamics
Brings experience within process engineering, flow assurance, or related technical fields
Has knowledge of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, hydroelectric turbines, or wind turbines
Is familiar with automation, control systems, PLC programming, or related technologies
Has programming skills, preferably in Python
Enjoys analyzing data and using operational data to improve performance and decision-making
Communicates confidently and professionally in English, both written and spoken.
Advantage if you also have some Norwegian skills.
