Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems, Automation, Cybernetics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or related field.
• Significant experience in control systems, automation or instrumentation engineering.
• Experience developing and integrating complex control systems.
• Experience offshore or highly regulated engineering environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop control system architectures, philosophies and functional specs for subsea equipment and systems.
• Design and integrate subsea control modules, instrumentation, communication systems and electrical interfaces.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical and software engineers to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Lead technical work packages and provide technical guidance throughout product development and project execution.
• Support concept studies, technology development, qualification programmes and FEED activities.
• Prepare technical specifications and engineering documentation for procurement and supplier engagement.
• Participate in supplier evaluations, FAT, SIT, verification and validation activities.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, engineering standards and knowledge sharing within the controls discipline.
