Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior or Lead Subsea Systems Engineer to join our team in Norway. The role is based in Norway, with subsea hub offices in Stavanger and Oslo, and a team of about 60 engineers.

You will deliver subsea systems and field development solutions for clients, spanning early studies through detailed engineering, execution and operation. The position emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality engineering for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree in subsea or related field.
• Experience in subsea systems, facilities and SURF engineering.
• Good understanding of Norwegian standards and regulations.
• Experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide subsea systems and facilities expertise to project teams.
• Define subsea system architecture from wellhead to export point.
• Develop subsea field architecture concepts and area layouts.
• Collaborate with SPS, Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowline disciplines.
• Mentor junior systems and SURF engineers.
• Support project risk workshops and design reviews.
