Job summary

Woolpert in London is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support to our London Mission Critical team. You will guide leadership on HR policies, support workforce planning, and help shape our people strategy with a focus on a high-performance culture.

You will oversee the employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development while ensuring compliance with employment law and diversity practices.

Qualifications

• Proven HRBP experience with strategic and operational support.
• Strong employee relations skills and handling sensitive matters.
• Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
• Experience in architecture/engineering or similar industry.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies and support the delivery of HR strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employment law and HR best practice.
• Partner with leaders to drive a high-performance culture.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinaries.
• Promote an inclusive workplace culture to improve retention.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR reporting.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Drive HR projects and change initiatives, ensuring compliance.
• Analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
