Job summary

Princeton University’s Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) seeks an Events and Administrative Coordinator to join the administrative team. The role supports front desk operations, administers signature PIIRS events, and provides financial and executive assistance to PIIRS leadership and programs, including Global Seminars.

Some evenings and weekends may be required to support events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in administrative operations, event management, financial administration, or executive support.
  • Experience processing expenses, reimbursements, travel arrangements, or financial transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience providing administrative support to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as front desk and first point of contact for PIIRS, welcoming guests and routing inquiries.
  • Coordinate PIIRS seminar rooms and maintain reservation calendar; support office moves.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reconciliation for PIIRS visitors and faculty.
  • Provide administrative and financial support for the Global Seminars program and leadership.
  • Support communications, reports, and program-related web content; coordinate meetings and materials.
