Job summary

University of Oslo seeks a versatile Research Coordinator to support NORA AI initiatives. The role focuses on coordinating NORA's Research Schools, events, and national/international research activities within a prominent AI program.

You will work closely with the CEO and the NORA secretariat to plan conferences and contribute to grant proposals. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in AI/digitalisation or related field; experience in research administration and event organization; strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to AI, digitalisation, or data-driven research; practical competence may replace the educational requirement.
• Experience with research administration and coordination.
• Experience organizing seminars, events, or conferences.
• Very good oral and written presentation in English.
• Good oral and written presentation in Norwegian.
• A PhD and research experience are an advantage.
• Experience within the field of AI.
• Knowledge of research funding from NFR and/or the EU's research programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing NORA's two Research Schools: NORA-tech and NORA-HS.
• Assist in organizing other NORA events and conferences.
• Support planning of research school events and their scientific content.
• Prepare materials about the research schools for publication online.
• Invite speakers and provide guidance on presentation formats.
• Assist in preparation of grant proposals; adapt tasks as needed.
