Job summary

ORLEN Upstream Norway AS is seeking a Principal/Senior Development & Production Geophysicist to lead geophysical interpretation and data integration across its Norwegian asset portfolio. The role reports to a Subsurface Manager and supports 25 producing and 7 developing assets, driving 3D/4D studies and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Geophysics or relevant discipline is preferred.
10+ years of development and production geophysics experience in an E&P company.
Fluency in English (oral and written).
Experience in license committees and representing company views.

Responsibilities

Provide geophysical interpretation to optimise recoverable hydrocarbon potential across assets.
Support investment decisions with high-quality geophysical analysis.
Represent ORLEN Upstream Norway in license committees and project decision gates.
Collaborate with geologists, petrophysicists and reservoir engineers to progress projects.
