Job summary

DeepOcean is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial organization and drive sustainable performance across global operations. You will partner with the CEO and Board on long-term capital strategy, investor relations, and scaling the finance function to support rapid growth.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and governance, while leading fundraising, pricing strategy, and M&A.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior financial leadership and scale-up environments.
• Fluent English; Norwegian language skills are a plus.
• Experience with investor relations, fundraising, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term financial strategy and capital allocation with the CEO and Board.
• Oversee budgeting, multi-year forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls.
• Lead fundraising, investor relations, and reporting to investors and Board.
• Drive pricing strategy, financial modeling for growth, and major contracts.
• Lead M&A and inorganic growth, including due diligence and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian and international regulations and risk controls.
• Build and lead a global finance organization supporting rapid growth.
