Job summary

Maritime Robotics is seeking a strategic Chief Product Officer to build and lead the new Products Department in Trondheim. You will define the portfolio strategy for USVs and autonomy solutions across Security & Defence, Offshore Energy, and Survey & Science, reporting to the CEO and partnering with Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams.

You will mentor product managers, drive go-to-market and pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations while expanding recurring

Qualifications

• Higher education in engineering, business, or technology management.
• Experience leading product management for hardware–software systems.
• Proven commercial success in B2B or B2G with roadmap-to-revenue impact.
• English proficiency; Norwegian language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the new Products organization with unified management across segments.
• Drive portfolio strategy and lifecycle management balancing value, finance, and feasibility.
• Inform strategic roadmap using market insights and field data.
• Champion end-to-end user and operator experience across hardware, software, and remote operations.
• Mentor segment product managers and align cross-functional teams on priorities.
• Shape go-to-market and pricing strategies to expand recurring revenue from software, data, and services.
• Transition bespoke solutions into standard, scalable offerings with Technology and Operations.
• Ensure portfolio roadmap complies with evolving maritime regulations and certifications.
