Omega 365 Consulting is a leading provider of project personnel in oil, gas, and energy sectors in Norway and internationally. We seek a senior commercial consultant to optimize the value chain from wellhead to customer and lead commercial operations and invoicing with Finance.
You will leverage 5+ years of Norwegian upstream and gas sales experience to manage client relations, negotiate gas-related agreements, and ensure regulatory compliance, while expanding the Norwegian business network.

Define and optimize entire value chain from wellhead to customer, internal and/or external.
Identify, assess, present and implement optimization opportunities
Develop and implement capacity booking strategies and product sales strategies
Ensure the commercial operations administration, internal and external reporting, risk management and value tracking
Prepare and validate invoicing with the Finance department
Provide commercial input for medium and long term planning/forecasting
Hold client main responsibility for resolving operational issues and preserving the value of daily sales
Uses industry network in Norway to find solutions and negotiate deals to resolve these operational issues
Hold overall responsibility for the gas dispatching contract and ensure the contract is benchmarked, updated and renewed, as required
Act as local integration interface with client trading entities for specific tasks and activities
Provide quality commercial support to other client departments
Negotiate and supervise agreements necessary to implement the above (including gas sales agreements and sales agency agreements)
Participate in Gassco and license committees and all other relevant business fora as agreed with the Commercial Lead
Deliver presentations and participate in miscellaneous project reviews and analysis
Be instrumental in securing project deadlines and ensuring that schedules are being met
Develop and maintain a Norwegian business network covering all aspects of the job
Secure compliance with all relevant regulations (Norwegian state, Field and Infrastructure Operators as well as and clients)
Education – University degree Bachelor within Engineer/ Business/ Economics
Relevant professional experience minimum 5 years
Good knowledge of and insight to the Norwegian upstream segment and gas transportation system
Experience from administration/operation of gas and/or oil sales
Robust capacity to manage specific IT interfaces with external providers and internal reporting tools
Ability to analyse complex projects that interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable in making independent sound business decisions on short notice with the ability to follow-up and implement
Negotiation skills in English (written & spoken)
Excellent inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to engage effectively with both internal & external stakeholders
