Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is a leading provider of project personnel for oil & gas, renewable energy, and infra in Norway and internationally. We seek a Supply Chain professional to manage POs, screen suppliers, prepare inquiries, and evaluate quotations while ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.

The role requires a degree and 3+ years in oil & gas supply chain, fluent English and Norwegian, and ability to collaborate in a dynamic team. SAP experience is a plus, with strong data discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• Commercially aware and professional with independent teamwork.
• Strong written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changes.
• Collaborative and proactive with high collaboration skills.
• Structured and efficient work style in line with guidelines.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Data discipline is preferred.

Assignment Description

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders withstrong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
• Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar
• Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas
• You are commercially aware
• You are professional and an independent team player
• You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
• You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills
• You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines
