Job summary

BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition in Whitestone, NY is seeking an Innovation Intern to join our fast-paced team. You will work on a master project supporting the 5-year innovation pipeline across BODYARMOR and POWERADE brands, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to explore category trends and translate them into new beverage concepts.

You will assist with product design, development, quality, and sensory work while gaining exposure to cross-functional teams and project management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS program in food science, chemistry, chemical engineering or similar major.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of food science/chemistry/nutrition required.

Responsibilities

• Research trends in sports nutrition and functional beverages.
• Design product/process concepts for new innovations or improve existing portfolio.
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory teams to meet standards and metrics.
• Understand nutritional components that consumers seek in products.
• Identify white space opportunities within the functional beverage space.
