Job summary

Yara International ASA invites applications for a Summer Intern to help optimize processes for producing NPK fertilizers at its Porsgrunn site in Norway. The internship spans 6–8 weeks, June to August 2027, and offers hands-on laboratory work within the NPK & Environmental Technologies Department.

You will participate in R&D activities, plan and perform experiments, and document results while collaborating with researchers and team members in a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year student in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
• Interest in chemistry, process technology and industrial R&D.
• Motivated, curious and eager to learn.
• Hands-on and interested in practical laboratory work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a diverse and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an R&D project related to NPK fertilizer production.
• Assist in planning and performing laboratory experiments.
