Zusammenfassung

Soulcake is hiring for a shop-floor role in Oslo. You will work alongside the Shop Manager and team to serve customers, prepare drinks, handle transactions and keep the shop clean and welcoming.

You’ll take the lead from the Shop Manager during shifts and prioritize the customer experience in a busy bakery and cafe environment. Shifts run across trading hours, including weekends and peak periods, with 8-hour blocks and 40% position guidance.

Qualifikationen

• Comfortable on your feet in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment for the full shift.
• Able to stay warm and customer-first through busy periods and difficult customers.
• Accurate with cash, transactions and orders.
• A clear, respectful communicator with customers and the team.
• Reliable and consistent - you show up on time and follow tasks through without being chased.
• Take pride in the customer experience and how the shop looks - not just getting through a shift.
• Available to work shop trading hours, including weekends and peak periods, on-call, and across our shop locations (Oslo, Strømmen and Sandvika).
• Aged 18 or over.

About the Role

You work the shop floor alongside the Shop Manager and the rest of the team - serving customers, preparing drinks, handling transactions and keeping the shop clean and well presented. You take your lead on shift from the Shop Manager, Assistant Manager or Shift Lead. The shift moves fast, especially during peak times, and you put the customer first without letting accuracy, pace or presentation slip.

What We're Looking For

It's an advantage if you have:

• Experience in a cafe, retail or hospitality environment
• Barista or drinks-preparation experience
• Familiarity with online order platforms such as Wolt or Foodora
• Norwegian and English, and any other languages are a bonus with our customers

Details

• Employment type: 40% Position
• Shifts: Ability to work 8 hours shifts between 8AM - 21:30PM, and ability to work Saturdays. Most shifts will be during the week from 11:30 to 19:30 or 13:30 to 21:30
