Job summary

Soulcake AS is seeking a friendly, hands-on shop team member for our bakery cafe. You will work on the shop floor beside the Shop Manager, serving customers, preparing drinks, handling transactions and keeping the space clean and inviting.

As a front-line ambassador, you will thrive in a busy environment with a customer-first mindset and a willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends. Norwegian and English skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments is desirable.
• Ability to handle cash, transactions and orders accurately.
• Strong communication with customers and team members is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and sell baked goods and drinks to Soulcake standard.
• Prepare and serve drinks consistently and to specification.
• Handle transactions and process online and in-shop orders accurately.
• Share clear product and allergen information with customers.
• Keep the shop floor, counter, displays and seating clean and presentable.
• Restock displays and follow opening, closing and changeover routines.
• Flag stock or operational issues to the Shop Manager early.
