Job summary

Oliasoft is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the Oslo team. You will combine well engineering domain expertise with strong technical aptitude to support customers across the full lifecycle of the Oliasoft WellDesign platform, including onboarding, training and ongoing technical support.

Approximately 20–30% travel to customer sites and industry events is expected. The role reports to the Head of Customer Success in Oslo and requires a relevant engineering degree, English fluency and prior

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in well engineering fundamentals including casing design, drilling mechanics and trajectory design.
• Experience from Oil & Gas in roles such as drilling engineering, well planning or completion engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to communicate to engineers and commercial stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Present WellDesign demonstrations to engineers and executives, translating platform capabilities into engineering value.
• Partner with Sales for technical discovery calls, proofs-of-concept and pilots.
• Represent Oliasoft at industry conferences and workshops.
• Translate customer well engineeringrequirements into WellDesign configurations and technical solutions.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and lead technical workshops with prospect teams.
• Contribute to onboarding and training for new customers, ensuring smooth adoption.
• Provide technical support and document value delivered for renewals.
• Contribute to best-practice guides, training and sales enablement material.
