Job summary

NOV Completion Tools is seeking an Applications Engineer to drive well completion projects from concept to delivery in Stavanger, Norway. You will work at the interface of customers, tech experts and field crews to develop practical solutions and ensure safe, well-documented execution.

You will build trusted customer relationships, manage risks and coordinate with internal teams to deliver accurate proposals, forecasts and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in petroleum engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience offshore operations and project coordination in well construction, completion or intervention.
• Strong project management skills with ownership mindset.
• Customer-oriented with understanding of drilling and wells.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently, initiative and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in Norwegian and English.
• Interest in Completion Tools technology and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate well completion projects from initiation to delivery.
• Build customer relationships and provide technical and project support.
• Evaluate designs and customer requirements.
• Participate in risk reviews and planning meetings.
• Prepare technical proposals, schematics and procedures.
• Maintain work orders and coordinate with internal departments.
• Maintain dialogue with field personnel during execution.
• Manage quotes, sales orders and proforma invoices in ERP.
• Contribute to forecasts, tenders and reports.
