Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Software Engineer for the Landmark Reservoir Center of Excellence in Oslo. This full-time role focuses on data-driven applications for Agile Asset Management software solutions, combining reservoir engineering knowledge with software development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deploy and grow technology, and help clients improve asset decisions through ensemble modeling and simulation.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of geological processes and reservoir engineering principles that influence the static and dynamic behavior of hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Good understanding of the integrated field development process within the oil and gas industry.
• Good understanding of the full reservoir modeling workflow and associated uncertainties, including experience with geomodeling tools and commercial flow simulators.
• Previous experience with an E&P company and/or oilfield services company is advantageous.
• Strong software engineering background.
