Job summary

Claxton Engineering Services Group seeks a Site Manager for our Stavanger facility to lead day-to-day operations, drive profitability, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will develop the annual business plan, manage staffing, and oversee commercial, financial, and people-related risks in line with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent experience.
• IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience participating in workforce consultations and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment law and industrial relations.
• Proven track record in budgeting and cost control.
• Experience leading teams through change and developing high-performance staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual site budget plan and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Lead staffing decisions and oversee organizational structure.
• Manage P&L with finance, ensure accurate reporting.
• Drive cash flow, investments, and profitability improvements.
• Oversee operations, supply chain, and project execution.
• Collaborate with sales to identify growth opportunities and client engagement.
• Represent Claxton in industry events and drive business development.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure IMS and QHSE compliance.
