Job summary

NOV Stavanger, Norway, is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Wellsite Services to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth in the Norwegian oil and gas market. You will combine technical insight with commercial acumen to deliver value to operators.

Based in Stavanger, you will travel regularly within Norway and occasionally abroad, collaborating with local operations, regional sales teams and technical specialists to identify opportunities and close deals.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of the oil and gas industry and wellsite operations.
• Proven experience in technical sales, account management or business development in oil and gas.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Ability to travel within Norway and occasionally internationally.
• Approximately 10+ years in oil and gas, including 5+ years in customer-facing commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across Norway, acting as a primary commercial point of contact and understanding their technical and business needs.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand NOV's presence within the Norwegian oil and gas market.
• Technical Solution Selling: Present relevant NOV Wellsite Services technologies, products and services and communicate their technical and operational value.
• Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans to support customer objectives and revenue growth.
• Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Build credibility with technical specialists, operations and commercial stakeholders.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the Country Manager, regional teams, technical specialists and local operations.
• Commercial and Contract Management: Support discussions and negotiations aligning customer expectations with NOV objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Track account performance and progress on initiatives.
