Job summary

Prysmian Group in Norway seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead MV/HV submarine cable projects from planning to delivery and to oversee a major factory investment in Drammen for MV cable production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and risks, and support global tendering and product development efforts.

The role requires fluent English and Norwegian, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in project management, engineering, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience managing both customer projects and internal CAPEX or factory projects.
• Knowledge of cable monitoring solutions, submarine cable systems, or power transmission tech is advantageous.
• Experience in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across functions.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar systems.
• Fluent English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead MV and HV submarine cable projects in Norway from planning to completion.
• Manage internal factory investment for MV production: schedule, budget, risk, interfaces, handover.
• Support global tendering activities for submarine cable projects.
• Promote monitoring solutions to customers with technical pre-sales support.
• Prepare technical docs, presentations, and project materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as key interface between customers, suppliers, and internal functions.
• Coordinate submarine cable projects from planning through execution and delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide progress updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Support product development by communicating customer needs and market requirements.
• Contribute to investment projects, production changes, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain customer records in Salesforce and stay informed on market trends.
