Senior Project Manager -- Submarine Projects / MV Investments

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager to join our Norwegian sales team and play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of submarine cable projects and investments within medium-voltage (MV) systems.

This is a unique role with two equally important responsibilities:

• Externally, you will lead the delivery of MV and HV submarine cable projects for Prysmian in Norway across the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through delivery, installation (when applicable), and handover. Existing customer agreements and ongoing projects will form your primary area of responsibility.

• Internally, you will act as Project Manager for a major investment project in our Drammen factory related to medium-voltage cable production. You will be responsible for ensuring the investment is executed in a controlled manner and successfully handed over to operations.

Your Job

• Lead and coordinate MV and HV submarine cable projects in Norway from planning through completion.

• Manage an internal factory investment project related to medium-voltage cable production, including schedule, budget, risk management, production interfaces, and operational handover.

• Support global tendering activities for submarine cable projects.

• Promote the value of monitoring solutions to customers, providing technical expertise and pre-sales support.

• Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and project-related materials for customers and internal stakeholders.

• Act as a key interface between customers, suppliers, and internal functions, ensuring effective communication and alignment of requirements.

• Coordinate submarine cable projects from planning through execution and delivery, ensuring compliance with agreed schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when needed.

• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular progress updates to customers and stakeholders.

• Support product development activities by communicating customer needs and market requirements across the organization.

• Contribute to investment projects, production changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain customer records in Salesforce and stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and new business opportunities.

Your Experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Experience in project management, technical sales support, engineering, or customer-facing roles within industrial or infrastructure environments.

• Experience managing both customer-facing projects and internal investment, capital expenditure (CAPEX), or factory-related projects.

• Knowledge of cable monitoring solutions, submarine cable systems, or power transmission technologies is considered a strong advantage.

• Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.

• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work effectively across different functions and cultures.

• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar customer management platforms.

• Fluent English and Norwegian, written and spoken

• Availability for occasional international travel.
