Job summary

Head Energy is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee site activities for HV transmission and infrastructure projects in the Stavanger region. Based in Norway, you will supervise the M&E installation subcontractor, ensure safety, quality, and schedules, and coordinate with project management and stakeholders.

Fluent in Norwegian and English, with a track record of managing site-based subcontractors on major energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience on 132kV, 300kV, 400kV or 420kV transmission projects.
• Experience working within the Nordic power transmission sector.
• Based in Norway and able to commute to the Stavanger region.
• Fluent Norwegian and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of site activities.
• Supervision of the M&E installation subcontractor.
• Site safety, quality and schedule oversight.
• Coordination with project management and functional teams.
• Stakeholder and customer interface management.
• Progress reporting and site administration.
• Coordination of installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Supporting Mechanical Completion, SAT and energisation activities.
• Ensuring compliance with project procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
• Significant experience as Site Manager on HV transmission, substation, GIS, or EPC infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing site-based subcontractors and construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to support the proposed rotation schedule and site-based assignment.
