Job summary

asobbi is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major Data Centre and AI Infrastructure projects in South-West Norway, with a focus on delivering complex, high-value infrastructure in West Norway. This permanent, full-time role covers the full project lifecycle—from initial planning and design through construction, commissioning and final handover—driving safety, quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.
• Background in Data Centres, AI Infrastructure, Critical Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial Projects or Power.
• Proven experience managing projects through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of MEP and technically complex infrastructure.
• Experience working on projects in Norway is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Centre & AI Infrastructure projects from concept through delivery.
• Manage programmes, budgets, risks and milestones.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Oversee civil, structural, mechanical and electrical workstreams.
• Manage technical interfaces across power, cooling, utilities and building infrastructure.
• Drive commissioning, testing, snagging and handover.
• Manage contractor performance, variations and commercial matters.
• Maintain the highest standards of HSE, quality and compliance.
• Provide clear reporting to senior internal and external stakeholders.

asobbi is partnered with a rapidly growing infrastructure business delivering complex, high-value projects across Data Centres, AI Infrastructure, Energy and Critical Infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major development and infrastructure projects in South-West Norway.

This is a senior, hands-on role covering the full project lifecycle — from planning and design through construction, contractor management, commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex Data Centre & AI Infrastructure projects from concept through delivery
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and key milestones
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and specialist suppliers
• Oversee civil, structural, mechanical and electrical workstreams
• Manage technical interfaces across power, cooling, utilities and building infrastructure
• Drive commissioning, testing, snagging and operational handover
• Manage contractor performance, variations and commercial matters
• Maintain the highest standards of HSE, quality and compliance
• Provide clear reporting to senior internal and external stakeholders

Ideal Experience

• 8+ years’ experience delivering complex infrastructure, construction or engineering projects
• Background in Data Centres, AI Infrastructure, Critical Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial Projects or Power
• Proven experience managing projects through construction, commissioning and handover
• Strong understanding of MEP and technically complex infrastructure
• Experience managing multiple contractors and concurrent workstreams
• Strong commercial, programme and stakeholder management capability
• Experience working on projects in Norway is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Norwegian construction standards, including NS 8407, would be advantageous
• Fluent English; Norwegian language capability is highly desirable
