Job summary

Leap29 are seeking an Electrical Project Manager for data centre projects in Oslo, Norway. You will lead delivery of electrical packages through the construction lifecycle, coordinating engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and the project team.

The role demands experience in large-scale electrical installations, strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS and generators, and a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on technically demanding

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Lead.
• Experience delivering large-scale electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution and critical power systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical packages from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Overseeing electrical subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinating procurement, materials and equipment delivery.
• Managing programme, progress and project milestones.
• Working across MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators and associated electrical systems.
• Coordinating with mechanical, controls/BMS and commissioning teams.
• Managing technical issues, RFIs and design changes.
• Ensuring works meet project specifications, quality requirements and relevant standards.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the project.

Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre

Location: Oslo, Norway

Contract type: Fixed-term employment

Contract duration: 12 Months minimum

Start date: 02/11/2026

Working pattern: Site-based

We are looking to speak with experienced Electrical Project Managers interested in contract opportunities across major data centre developments in Norway.

This position would suit an Electrical Project Manager with experience delivering complex electrical packages within data centres, mission-critical facilities or other technically demanding construction environments.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical packages through the construction lifecycle, working closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical packages from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover
• Overseeing electrical subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinating procurement, materials and equipment delivery
• Managing programme, progress and project milestones
• Working across MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators and associated electrical systems
• Coordinating with mechanical, controls/BMS and commissioning teams

Experience Required

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Experience delivering large-scale electrical installations
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution and critical power systems
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Exposure to installation, testing and commissioning
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder-management skills

Previous data centre experience is highly desirable.

Candidates from other complex environments such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, battery, energy, industrial or other mission-critical projects will also be considered.
