Job summary

IKM Gruppen AS in Stavanger/Oslo seeks an experienced engineer to drive early-phase and execution-phase project work in oil and gas, with a focus on multidisciplinary interfaces and information management.

You will simplify documentation, set up PIMS routines, coordinate interfaces, and support design basis development for projects, under a 12-month assignment starting October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience from both the early phase and execution phase of oil and gas projects.
• Educational background in one or more engineering disciplines.
• Strong multidiscipline understanding, preferably with subsea experience.
• Proactive and forward-leaning mindset with a drive for improving work processes.

Responsibilities

• Simplify and standardize project documentation.
• Prepare decision gate packages and support management review activities.
• Set up, structure, and organize PIMS systems and routines for projects (e.g., Interface, Technical Queries modules).
• Handle and coordinate multidiscipline topics, including interface management, risk, and technical queries.
• Establish and maintain well-structured information management, planner boards, and action lists.
• Support the development of the design basis and functional requirements for projects.
