Job summary

Omega Subsea seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex subsea projects from planning through execution, with full commercial and financial responsibility.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage projects, risks and build strong relationships with clients and partners throughout the project lifecycle. The position reports to the COO and is part of our Project & Operations team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within subsea, offshore, energy, or maritime industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering technically complex projects.
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience with project financial management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

  • Lead and manage subsea projects from contract award to final delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
  • Take full commercial and financial responsibility for project performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and change requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
  • Promote a strong HSEQ culture and ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Lead complex subsea projects with Omega Subsea

Do you want to lead complex subsea projects and play a key role in delivering successful offshore operations? At Omega Subsea, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of challenging subsea projects and ensure successful delivery from planning through execution. This is an opportunity to join Omega Subsea, a growing company providing state-of-the-art subsea technology.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering subsea projects in line with customer expectations, budget targets, and company objectives. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage projects, risks and build strong relationships with clients and partners throughout the project lifecycle. The position reports to the COO and is part of our Project & Operations team.

The work location for the right candidate will be Bergen or Stavanger.

Key responsibilities
