About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer Lead to take ownership of process engineering activities across tenders and projects, while leading a globally distributed team of engineers. This role goes beyond technical execution—you will play a key role in shaping process strategy, mentoring engineers, and driving project outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering activities across tenders and project execution.
- Collaborate with the Discipline Manager to define and align process team objectives within the project.
- Provide appropriate process engineering input to design activities undertaken by other inter-discipline engineering within the project team.
- Act as the process engineering interface with internal disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all deliverables are technically accurate and aligned with scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop junior process engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment and strong team spirit.
- Execute feasibility studies, conceptual design, and process studies.
- Develop key design documentation (Heat & Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets) and support other process engineers in their preparation.
- Represent process engineering in technical design reviews (P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID) as well as in client and vendor meetings.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in process design.
- Ability to balance hands‑on execution with leadership responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Process Lead.
- Proficient in process engineering software (HYSYS, FlareNet, OLGA, Pipesim, ProMax).
- Site experience.
