Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting in Stavanger is seeking a Senior Electrical / Power Systems Engineer to support power system studies, ETAP analyses, and technical documentation for offshore and onshore projects in oil, gas, and renewables. The role involves coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and compliance with DNV requirements.

• Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal educational requirements.
• Several years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer / Power Systems Engineer.
• Solid experience with ETAP.
• Experience with short-circuit calculations.
• Experience with protection coordination and selectivity studies.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical electrical documentation.
• Experience with DNV / DNV GL requirements is highly desirable.
• Offshore, maritime, energy or oil & gas experience is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical / Power Systems Engineer to support electrical engineering activities related to power system studies and technical documentation.

The assignment will include:

Power system analysis and electrical studies using ETAP

Short-circuit calculations and fault level analysis

Protection coordination and selectivity studies

Review and preparation of electrical engineering documentation

Technical calculations and documentation in accordance with relevant standards and requirements

Coordination with engineering disciplines, suppliers and other project stakeholders

Follow-up and verification of electrical systems and study results

Documentation and engineering work related to DNV requirements/classification
