Job description

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in power distribution systems you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining electrical systems for various projects in Oslo Your primary focus will be on power distribution systems ensuring that they are designed and installed according to industry standards and regulations

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop power distribution systems for new construction projects
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing power distribution systems
• Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineers to ensure efficient and effective design solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects
• Ensure all designs comply with local codes standards and regulations
• Oversee the installation of power distribution systems on site
• Conduct testing and commissioning of completed systems
• Provide technical support to clients during project execution

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in designing power distribution systems
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD ETAP or SKM PowerTools
• Strong understanding of industry codes and standards NEC NEMA
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fluent in English Norwegian proficiency preferred
