Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking an experienced automation professional to deliver SAS documentation and system drawings for offshore projects. You will produce Cause & Effect diagrams, SCDs, loop drawings, FEL deliverables, and installation work packages, while revising existing drawings and ensuring discipline approvals.

Responsibilities include material orders, P&ID interpretation, and collaboration with clients and vendors to identify optimal technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation/Cybernetics.
• 7-12 years' experience with SAS systems in modification projects for systems in operation.
• Modifications on offshore installations when in operation.
• Control Room Design ( Automation part ), ISO 11064.
• EPCIC project phases.
• Offshore system knowledge ( process/electrical/telecom/utility systems, BPCS and SIS ).
• IEC 61850 and latest protocols/interfaces (GOOSE, MMS, PTP, SV).
• IEC 61508/61511 - Safety Instrumented Systems.
• Cyber security (IEC 62443 for IACS/OT).
• NPD, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok standards.

• Order all automation materials needed for offshore installation, and must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions.

Assignment Description

main suppliers technical solutions for SAS/IACS/OT( Emerson, Siemens, ABB, Kongsberg, Honeywell )

suppliers technical solutions for High and Voltage systems and philosophies for system design

IEC 61850 and latest protocols/interfaces (GOOSE, MMS, PTP,SV)

IEC 61508/61511- Safety Instrumented Systems

Cyber security in general and in special for electrical systems(IEC 62443 as IACS/OT)

relevant standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok

EX – Basic EX Course: 6–8 hours online, or 22.5 hours in a classroom setting

FSE – High- and Low-Voltage Electrical Safety Training, including First Aid

Offshore certification and medical certificate available upon request, if required
