Job summary
IKM Consultants AS seeks an experienced Automation/SAS specialist in Stavanger to lead offshore documentation, design reviews, and installation planning. You will develop Safety and Automation System documentation, create FEL work packages, and order automation materials while ensuring discipline checks and approvals.
Ideal candidates have 7–12 years of SAS experience on offshore projects, strong knowledge of process/electrical/telecom systems, and familiarity with major vendors (Emerson,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Automation or Cybernetics.
- 7–12 years of SAS experience on modification projects in offshore installations.
- Experience across Concept/Detail Studies and EPCIC projects.
Responsibilities
- Produce and revise technical documentation and drawings (Cause & Effect, SCDs, loop drawings).
- Develop documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
- Create work packages for installation and FEL work.
- Perform discipline checks and approve produced documents and drawings.
- Order automation materials for offshore installation, interpreting P&IDs and other discipline drawings.
- Collaborate with client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions.
