Job summary

IKM in Stavanger seeks a seasoned Automation & SAS specialist for offshore modification projects. You will develop and revise technical documentation, create work packages for FEL studies, and ensure drawings meet safety and industry standards.

The role demands strong collaboration with clients and vendors across multi-disciplinary teams. Minimum 7–12 years of SAS system experience on offshore installations, with IEC/NORSOK knowledge and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation or Cybernetics.
• 7–12 years of SAS system experience on offshore installations.
• Experience across Concept/Detail Studies and EPCIC.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process, electrical, telecom, BPCS, SIS.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850, 61508/61511, 62443, ISO 11064, ATEX, NORSOK.
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
• Required Basic Ex and FSE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise technical documentation and drawings for SAS offshore projects.
• Develop documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
• Create work packages for FEL studies and installation/deliverables.
• Perform discipline checks and approve documents and drawings.
• Order automation materials for offshore installation; interpret P&IDs.
• Collaborate with client and vendor representatives on technical solutions.
