Job summary
SPERTON - Where Great People Meet is seeking an Automation Engineer in Stavanger to design, engineer and commission automation solutions for onshore and offshore facilities. You will develop control systems, program software, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex industrial energy projects.
The role requires knowledge of PCS7, WinCC and Siemens S5/S7, plus familiarity with Ex and SIL standards, and a willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with PCS7 and SAS systems.
- Knowledge of WinCC, Siemens S5/S7.
- Understanding of Ex and SIL requirements.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Sigraph, Microstation, Eplan or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Norsok and IEC standards.
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Willingness to travel as required.

You will be involved in system design, programming, and commissioning, contributing to complex industrial and energy projects while working with advanced automation technologies and standards.
