Job summary

IKM Consultants AS seeks an experienced Automation/SAS specialist in Stavanger to lead offshore documentation, design reviews, and installation planning. You will develop Safety and Automation System documentation, create FEL work packages, and order automation materials while ensuring discipline checks and approvals.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation or Cybernetics.
• 7-12 years of experience with SAS systems in modification projects on operational offshore installations.
• Experience with all project phases, including Concept/Detail Studies and EPCIC.
• Strong knowledge of offshore systems (process, electrical, telecom, BPCS, SIS).
• Familiarity with SAS/IACS/OT technical solutions from major suppliers (e.g., Emerson, Siemens, ABB, Kongsberg).
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC (61850, 61508/61511, 62443), ISO 11064, ATEX, and NORSOK.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Required certifications: Basic Ex and FSE (Safety regulations for electrical work).
