Job summary

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join Technical Operations at the Fornebu office. You will support the MOC team, coordinate staffing, and monitor aircraft availability, reliability and on-time performance to improve operational efficiency.

You will lead technical guidance, safety, and cost control initiatives, while collaborating across departments and with MROs.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in aircraft line maintenance and technical operations.
Licence on Boeing 737NG (preferably also 737 MAX).
Fluent in written and spoken English; Scandinavian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate MOC personnel administration: shift planning, timesheets, absence management, onboarding and training.
Ensure cost-effective staffing including ad hoc shift coverage.
Follow up daily technical operations through meetings and cross-department collaboration.
Manage long-stay AOG situations and recovery plans.
Monitor delays, reliability, MRO performance and on-time performance; implement mitigations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to MOC personnel.
