Job summary

Zip is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant to join our rapidly scaling professional services team. You’ll work with Sales and Solutions to implement the Zip Integration Platform for our customers and manage fast-paced, multi-client projects.

You will translate customer requirements into integration designs, leverage our iPaaS, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve processes and time-to-value. Strong ERP knowledge and API experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience integrating systems with ERP (Oracle/Ariba ideally), P2P, Ticketing, CLM and TPRM.
• Experience using iPaaS tools to configure integrations.
• Experience with Python/JavaScript scripting.
• Experience with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
• ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience beneficial.
• Ability to translate highly technical information for varied audiences.
• Lead data architectural discussions and design integration solutions.
• Comfortable working with API documentation.
• Able to test and troubleshoot integration errors.
• Document customer requirements quickly with little oversight.
• Continuous learner open to new technologies Zip may integrate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Relentless focus on customer success.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Zip into customers IT landscape (ERP, Ticketing, TPRM, CLM, and other tools).
• Design and document integration architecture per customer requirements.
• Validate requirements against third-party API documentation.
• Work with stakeholders to build integrations leveraging Zip’s iPaaS.
• Unit test the configuration with the customer.
• Provide periodic status reports to manager or client.
• Provide accurate estimations and timelines of work performed.
• Collaborate with product team to provide ongoing feedback.
• Improve technical processes to accelerate time to value for customers.
