MDE Stavanger is seeking a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument procurement packages in offshore wind/oil & gas projects. You will lead instrument design, follow up vendors, and participate in IAT/FAT tests.

You'll have 6-8 years in greenfield offshore engineering, 3 years PRE experience, and strong English. This role offers permanent or project-based employment with international opportunities and structured onboarding.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6-8 years of engineering experience in greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects.
• Minimum 3 years of PRE activities and responsibilities in greenfield projects.
• Experience and deep knowledge of field instrumentation design and standards (NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC).
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Multidiscipline understanding; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Be systematic and accurate with a focus on deadlines and quality.
• Proactive, willing to share experiences and seek advice.

Aufgaben

• Instrument design and follow up of instrument packages vendors.
• Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument procurement packages; participate in IAT/FAT tests.
• Follow up instrument vendors and vendor technical documentation.
• Ensure vendor information for progress is identified and communicated to the project.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Update of technical and document data registers.
