Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to lead instrument package design and PRE activities for greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects. You will coordinate vendor follow-ups, ensure progress with test activities (IAT/FAT), and maintain engineering data registers.

The role requires 6–8 years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of field instrumentation standards (NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC), strong English communication, and a proactive, cooperative mindset to work in a

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years' experience from greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with PRE activities and responsibilities.
• Experience and deep knowledge of field instrumentation design and standards (NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work in multicultural team environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Be systematic and accurate with deadlines and quality requirements.
• Be proactive and share experiences with others.

Responsibilities

• Instrument design and follow up of instrument packages vendors.
• Package responsible engineer (PRE) for instrument procurement packages; participate in IAT/FAT tests.
• Follow up instrument vendors and vendor technical documentation.
• Ensure vendor information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Update of technical and document data register.
