Job summary

Head Energy Group is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer for offshore oil & gas or wind projects. The role focuses on instrument design, vendor follow-up, and PRE activities for procurement packages, including participation in IAT/FAT tests.

You will coordinate vendor documentation and ensure data registers are up to date, contributing to project progress and quality. The position requires solid experience with field instrumentation design and adherence to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree is required.
• 6-8 years’ experience from engineering for greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from green field projects.
• Experience and deep knowledge of field instrumentation design, measuring principle and solutions according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.

Responsibilities

• Instrument design and follow up of instrument packages vendors.
• Package responsible engineer (PRE) for instrument procurement packages and participate in test activities IAT/FAT.
• Follow up Instrument vendors and vendor technical documentation.
• Ensure vendor information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Update of technical and document data register.
