Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our project teams. You will design and follow up instrument packages, act as PRE for procurement, and coordinate with vendors to ensure documentation meets project needs.

We require 6–8 years in offshore engineering (greenfield) or wind projects, and at least 3 years in PRE roles. Strong communicational skills and teamwork in a multicultural setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years' experience from engineering for greenfield offshore oil&gas or wind projects.
• Minimum 3 years' Experience with PRE activities and responsibilities from green field projects.
• Experience and deep knowledge of field instrumentation design, measuring principle and solutions according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have a cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.
• Multidiscipline understanding.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team.
• Be systematic and accurate.
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
• Communicate well in English – both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Instrument design and follow up of instrument packages vendors.
• Package responsible engineer (PRE) for instrument procurement packages. Participate in test activities IAT/FAT.
• Follow up Instrument vendors and vendor technical documentation.
• Ensure that vendor information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Update of technical and document data register.
