Lace Lithography in Bergen, Norway is seeking a Senior Experimental Physicist/Engineer to lead our Source squad and advance beamline technologies. You will combine people leadership with hands-on hardware work to drive development, working with physicists, chemists and engineers toward the technology roadmap.

Based in Bergen with regular travel to key locations, you will design, test, and optimize high-vacuum/instrumentation, write Python scripts for data analysis, document results, and

Formación

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical subject.
• 3+ years in instrument development in industry or academia.
• Experience leading technical teams (2–3+ years).
• Hands-on experience with high/ultrahigh vacuum hardware and instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, refine and execute the Technology Development strategy for atom beams and vacuum systems.
• Design, develop, and test complex instrumentation for high/ultra-high vacuum conditions.
• Conduct tests to verify system parameters and performance.
• Write Python scripts to analyze data and automate experiments.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for company-wide distribution.
• Develop IP by solving beam physics, vacuum architecture and diagnostics.
