Job summary

Leading Irish Main Contractor & Fit-Out Specialist in Norway is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead day-to-day engineering on a 240MW data centre project. You will manage RFIs, submittals, QA/QC, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver safely, on programme and to specification.

The role offers an overseas package, a €75,000-€85,000 salary and benefits including pension, private healthcare, life assurance, travel allowance, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer
• Strong QA/QC procedures knowledge
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and consultants
• Experience with field setting out and surveying is ideal

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engineering requirements including RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, design coordination and setting out activities.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Monitor construction progress, identify technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland/Mainland Europe.
• Strong setting out experience using Total Station, GPS and surveying equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection plans and quality documentation.

Package

Salary will depend on experience, but you can expect somewhere in the region of €75,000 - €85,000 together with an excellent overseas package including:
