Job summary

JD Recruitment Solutions is seeking two experienced MEP package leads for Norway: one Electrical-biased and one Mechanical-biased, with an MEP Lead role. You will oversee two large Data Centre projects, driving performance with Tier 1 contractors and ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

You will review RAMS and submittals, manage site inspections and safety, and lead meetings with suppliers. Rotation is 3:1 in Norway, with competitive day rates and full travel/accommodation expenses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an MEP Project / Package Manager role.
• Solid technical background in commercial delivery.
• Extensive experience managing Tier 1 contractors on major UK / European construction sites.
• Strong leadership, communication, and contractor-management skills.
• Willing to work on a 3:1 rotation in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Drive Tier 1 mechanical/electrical contractors through the full construction lifecycle, from initial build through to testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate package contractors to maintain progress against tight schedules, resolving site bottlenecks efficiently.
• Review RAMS, technical submittals, construction drawings, and documentation; conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Lead regular progress, coordination, and technical meetings with Tier 1 contractors and key equipment suppliers.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, providing clear progress updates to senior client stakeholders.
• Serve as the technical point of contact on-site, addressing RFIs/technical queries without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Maintain active oversight of contractor site activities to enforce strict H&S regulations and high safety culture standards.
