Job summary

Sperton, on behalf of a client, seeks a Senior Electrical/Power Engineer to join the Trondheim team. You will contribute to the full project lifecycle—from studies and execution to testing, commissioning, and operational support—with potential offshore and onshore travel.

The role demands a solid background in electrical power systems, experience in offshore environments, and effective collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in Norwegian and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Energy and Environment or equivalent.
• Several years of professional experience with electrical systems.
• Good understanding of modern electrical systems and their integration with digital and remote-control technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to studies, project execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide technical support during operations.
• Develop and improve electrical systems, solutions, processes, and engineering tools.
• Collaborate closely with customers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance within projects.
• Take on increased technical responsibility and leadership where appropriate.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving related to electrical systems.
• Travel offshore or to onshore facilities when required.
